100% Stimulus Funding for Municipal Transits to Acquire EMP miniHybrid Thermal System

ESCANABA, MI -- Under the recently enacted American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), $8.4 Billion of stimulus funding is now available to municipal transit properties. This is a 100% federal share initiative offering a perfect opportunity for transits to modernize their fleets through the retrofit/refurb of existing buses.
EMP’s “miniHybrid” thermal system is eligible for 100% stimulus funding on new or aftermarket installations. Consider this --- for the cost of a new hybrid bus, you can retrofit forty (40) transit buses with the “miniHybrid” thermal system and enjoy many of the same benefits of a hybrid.
