ESCANABA, MI -- EMP is pleased to announce that its thermal management system “miniHybrid” now exceeds 1,000 units shipped to over (33) municipal transit bus facilities in major metropolitan cities across North America.

Features & Benefits
The "miniHybrid" (MH-8) is available from several major OEMs and in the aftermarket through distribution. The MH-8 improves safety by eliminating hydraulics. Also, it is self-cleaning, reducing or eliminating lengthy, expensive core cleaning operations. Maintenance is enhanced by its diagnostic capability and by the rugged conditions that the fans have designed and validated.

Bottom line
The "miniHybrid" typically has a payback new or aftermarket of less than 2 years. This has been validated by numerous sites across North America. The "miniHybrid" is eligible for federal funding on new or aftermarket installations. Multiple properties secured Federal Stimulus Funding and the MH-8 kit fits SAFE-T-LU and 5307 funding guidelines. The MH-8 kit is presently awaiting approval from the EPA for an emerging technology designation.
